Service Units
USHERING
Officers in this ministry create within order the sanctuary, the first impression of the church to those who attend our various services.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Workers in this ministry are entrusted with children ages 0-12 years of age. They take absolute care of all children that are put in their custody.
COUNSELLING MINISTRY
Divine guidance is indispensable to the believer. Counselors are ministers of God who provide direction, help, support and advice younger Christians in matters of life and the faith.
INTERCESSORY
These ministers generate spiritual power for the church through fasting and prayer. They are warriors for the church, who provide a prayer base for the assembly that fuels all spiritual exercises of church life.
SAMARITTAN CARE
They perform duties similar to that of the caring hearts ministry, who minister to all social needs and welfare of church members, only this time, they minister to the needs of individuals outside the church.
HOST AND GREETERS
They are the face of the pastor at the door, to our precious guests and members. They provide a warm welcome to all Members and visitors before each service and all GHC events
SECURITY & LOGISTICS
Members of this ministry largely make the first contact with worshippers in our services because their duty post extends to the church car park.
MEDIA
Ministry moments are captured by these ministers. There duty is to ensure that the exploits of the ministry are heralded, and travel as wide as possible.
SANCTUARY KEEPERS
Cleanliness is next to godliness. This ministry group is responsible for the cleaning of the church facility and premises.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
They reach out to unsaved souls and organize crusades for the church. Hospital visitations and prison evangelism as well as other specialized groups are reached out to by these ministers.
TREASURY
They are the officers saddled with the responsibility of safe keeping and documentation of details of the financial life of the church.
INFORMATION DESK
They are responsible for giving accurate information to all enquiries about the church. A guide for all worshippers
THEATRE
Drama is a tool of evangelism, which is core to the Christian faith. it is a means employed to ensure that men are baited into the kingdom of God.
HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Are saddled with the responsibility of training and re-training of all ministries in the church for optimal productivity.
MUSIC
Responsible for the worship life of the church and invoking the presence of God in meetings. Music ministers are very conspicuous in the church, so must be models of true Christian character and godly living.
CARING HEARTS
As their name suggests, this ministry cares for members of the church. They keep tabs on personal events in members’ life and stand with them. Such events include marriages, birthday anniversaries, bereavements etc.
BEAUTIFICATION MINISTRY
These are responsible for the general beautification of the sanctuary and toilets. These include: • Stage • Platforms • Inside and outside the sanctuary
EVERGREEN FELLOWSHIP
This is a specialized fellowship for association of Church members from age 50 and above. This fellowship ministers to the peculiar needs of this age group.
